Incentives That Drive Investment

From the State of Illinois to individual communities, Ogle County offers numerous incentives for those looking to build and grow.

Ogle County communities, along with the State of Illinois provide a competitive incentive landscape designed to attract new businesses and support the growth of existing employers. OCEDC works with companies and site selectors to identify and package the incentives that best fit each project.

Tax Increment Financing (TIF)

Several Ogle County communities have established TIF districts that capture incremental property tax revenue to fund infrastructure improvements, site preparation, and other development costs. TIF is one of the most powerful tools available for supporting investment in commercial and industrial projects.

Lee-Ogle and Enterprise Zone (LOEZ)

The LOEZ designation provides state sales tax exemptions on building materials, investment tax credits, and other benefits for qualifying projects. The zone covers key industrial and commercial corridors across multiple communities.
